Privacy Policy for SCC

Suman Coaching Centre ("SCC", "we", "our" or "us") provides the SCC mobile application for students, teachers and authorised administrators.

Information we process

Depending on the user's role and authorised activities, the app may process student and parent names, telephone numbers, addresses, school and class information, dates of birth, admission information, student identifiers, account login information, fee and payment records, academic results, course progress, study materials, questions submitted to the AI study assistant, uploaded question images and administrative reminders.

How information is used

We use this information to authenticate users, operate tuition-centre services, manage student records, provide academic materials and results, answer study questions, track course progress, administer fees and payments, produce reports and manage authorised reminders.

AI study assistant

Questions and optional images submitted to the AI study assistant may be sent securely to third-party artificial-intelligence service providers solely to generate a response. Users should not include unnecessary personal or sensitive information in questions or images.

Storage and security

Information is transmitted to SCC systems over HTTPS. Login details needed to keep a user signed in are stored using secure storage available on the device. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Information sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by providers used to host and operate SCC systems or provide AI-assisted answers, when necessary to provide the service, or disclosed when required by law. Student information is available only according to the account's authorised role.

Data retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide tuition-centre services, maintain legitimate educational and financial records, and meet legal obligations. Students and parents may request access, correction or deletion by contacting us. Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting or educational purposes.

Children and students

The service may process information about school-age students under the direction of Suman Coaching Centre and their parent or guardian. A parent or guardian may contact us about a child's information or request correction or deletion, subject to applicable retention requirements.

External services

The app may open external services such as Google Maps, Google ratings, WhatsApp, telephone or email applications. Those services process information under their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, our practices or legal requirements change. The updated effective date will be displayed on this page.
